IN BANKRUPTCY.
David Duhriingham, forwarding agent; Auckland, made a sworn statement in bankruptcy to-day. Inter alia it stated: "I hay 6 been engaged as a'forwarding agent in Auckland since ISSS.The business was carried on in my wife's name from the commencement until April, 1599, when it was sold to Mr J.. J. Craig. Since then I- have acted as roa.nager at £3 per week. I have no other pecuniary interest in the business. The immediate cause of my filing was three judgments and several threats by creditors. My unsecured debts to 34 creditors amboUUt to £128 4/5, and £16 to a secured creditor. Total, £144 4/5. Assets, nil. The household furniture to the value of £71 13/ was voted to my wife by the creditors under my bankruptcy of March, 15587, and this site still retains. I cannot-see my way to put aside any part of my salary towards the liquidation of my debts.
