Better results were obtained for the past month's operations in the May Queen mine, Thames. The totai amount of ore treated was 814 tons, which yielded bullion worth £1,208 O/l'l. The- previous month's output was only £951 from 769 tons, so it is evident better grade ore is now coming to hand. Only two tribute parties crushed this month 151bs of picked stone yielding £31 2/.
