Synopsis of the last 24 hours: Northward of Lyttelton and Hokitlka pressure has continued to increase steadily, but there has been very little movement In southern districts. Low- pressure from west will pass eastward of the meridian of South Cape tomorrow, also one on the 4th. The weather has been fine everywhere, and there has been frost at Mongonul, Te Aroha, Talhape, Farewell Spit, Blenheim, Christchurch, Naseby, and Balclutha. .
