THE MARAROA.
The s.s. Mararoa arrived at the quarantine station from Sydney at daylight this morning. Mr E. Sadler, the purser, reports that she left Sydney at 3 p.m. on Wednesday last, passed Cape Maria at noon yesterday, and arrived as above. The Mararoa comes out of quarantine on Wednesday afternoon, and leaves for the South at 2 p.m. on Thursday.
The Mararoa brought the following passengers from Sydney: Misses Harkins, Stewart, Moulton (2), Bow, Mesdames Darnton, Taylor, Moulton, Thomson, Messrs L. Milne, A. Lucas, A. Clapham, H. Daniels, G. A. Thompson, J. Thompson, P. Hadley, F. W. Grainger, Herr Yon Gramatyki, Dr. Moulton, Masters Thomson, Tebutt and 42 steerage. Her cargo includes 251 packages ea, 182 cases fruit, 22 packages laces, 100 pieces timber, 30 cases cyanide, 70 cases cream of tartar, 179 .ingots tin, 14 bags valonea, 40 bags rice, -100 cases currants, 12 boxes machinery, transhipments, ex Ormuz, Tutami Maru, Orawatta, Darmstadt, Karlsruhe, and a large quantity of sundries.
