THE TAVIUNI.

The s.s. Tavluni arrived from the Eastern Pacific yesterday afternoon. Mr C. E. Bench, the purser, reports: The Taviunl left Papeete at 5 p.m. on the 15th inst.. and called at Raiatea on the 16th, reachins Aitutaki (Cook Islands) at S a.m. on the ISth, and Rarotonga on the 19th. Lett ag-ain on the 20th, and called at Mangaia on the 21st, leaving the latter island at 6 p.m. on the -'Ist. Fine weather was experienced for two days; thonce strong head winds ■and head seas to arrival as above.
