THE PLAQUEAn OPEN LETTER to the PEOPLE of NEW ZEALAND. Ist May, 1900. In bringing presumably under the notice of the public of Australasia generally, and of New Zealand in particular, at the present moment the merits and curative powers of Vitadatio, I am not actuated by a spirit of commercial enterprise or gain. Its curative properties are so well known—in fact, are a household word in these colonies—that it is unnecessary to allude to them; but it is to its efficacy as an antidote to blood poisoning, as well as a curative, that I wlah to allude. The blood is the life. Impure blood makes itself manifest in countleßi ways: the system becomes like a drought stricken district, that readily absorbs any sort of moisture. So it IS with the human system. If the blood is pure, it will not absorb every microbe that approaches it, or, if It does succeed in getting a hold, it will he in a lesser degree and much more easily dealt with. Twelve months ago I sent a case of Vitadatio to Madras, and wrote the authorities there my strong conviction that it would be found by them to be a sure antidote for the great scourge (the plague), but presume professional jealousy has prevented a trial being given to it; at any rate, I have received no reply or report of any sort as to its effects. My own opinions and convictions are formed from my own actual observations and experiences of cases of blood disorders and poisonings; and so positive am I. that Vitadatio Will Prevent and Cure the Plague that I will give £10 to the first person who takes the plague Whll3t>Taking Vitadatio, satisfactory proof that the medicine has been taken alone being required by me, arid that proof a simple one, viz., that the medicine is purchased at the Auckland Institute, 350, Queen-at.
