WELLINGTON, this day.
Government negotiations for the purchase of the Langdale and Riddeford estates as sites for workingmen's homes hang fire. Probably arbitration will be resorted to.
The Department of Education received from South Kensington two cases of specimen drawing models, selected by Commissioners from types of pass art work, of successful pupils. These are to be exhibited at the various technical schools in the colony, commencing at Wellington.
