SYDNEY, this day.
A total of 204. cases of plague have occurred to date. There have been 94 deaths and S4 patients have been discharged recovered.
SYDNEY, June 3.
The following additional cases are reported:—James Wilson, Rose Bay; Richard Jones, Burwood; Stanley Oakes, Balmain (all schoolboys); John Fox, a temporary employee at the quarantine station; John Peard, city; and John Wilkins, Mittagong. The latter left Sydney on Wednesday, and was then indisposed. So few people are availing themselves of inoculation that the Board of Health, in view of the heavy expense in maintaining- a. special staff, is considering the question Of stopping inoculation. Tb.e president says if people think Sydney is done with the plague, they are much mistaken. It may be dying, but is not dead, and probably every now and then there will be an increase of cases. . .
LATER. No plague cases were reported today. Wilson and Jones are dead.
