PARIS,- June -2. A heated debate took place in :the Senate over the, Amnesty Bill, respecting the smothering of criminal prosecutions arising out of the Dreyfus case. General Mercier, who was taunted with, forgery in connection with the Dreyftfs trial at Rennes, declared he would re-\ peat, under similar circumstances, what he had done..
