TAHITI SHIPPING.
The French warship Aube returned to Papeete from a cruise to Tongatabu, Apia, Suva, 'and Wallls Island.
The mail schooner Tropic. Bird arrived from San Francisco on May 3, and was placed in quarantine. On May 4 the Socictie Commereiale del' Oceanice's new schooner Nukuliva arrived from San Francisco, and was also placed in quarantine.
On May 3 the schooner Galilee left for San Francisco, after having been in quarantine for 35 days.
The barque Colbert left for Queenstown for orders (Liverpool) on April 23, with a full load of copra, cotton, and pearl shell. On May 9 the schooner Leon left for Penrhyn Island with a full load of trade to try and work Jip a business in pearl shell.
