AN ASSAULT CASE

PAEROA, this day
Jn the Police Court yesterday, before Messrs Nathan and Cock, Justices, the counter-charges of assault were preferred by Henry Duggan and John Corbett, of Hikutaia, and occupied the Court all day. A large number of witnesses were examined on both sides. Finally each party was convicted and fined 40/. Mr Miller appeared for Corbett and Mr Moss for Duggan.
