COLLIE CLUB TRIALS.
The annual MertJiven Collie trials Were held on the sth, Gth, and 7th inst. The following are the results: — Class I.—Heading and bringing back, about 500 yards: F. Gray's Bruce 1, C. J. Johnstone's Cherry 2, C. Macrae's Nell 3.
Class ll.—Heading, bringing back, and yarding: W. W. Wright's Corbie, 20 points, 1; R. R. Pollock's Toff, 19; and J. McLennan's Rap, 19, equal for second; C. Johnsitone's. Cherry, 4.
Class lll.—Hunt away arid slew: IX. R. Pollock's Clyde, 1; W. Pollock'a Toy, 2; C. J. Johnstone's Fly, 3.
Class IV.—Five sheep to be driven through two sets, of hurdles, then yarded: R. R. Pollock's Love, 27 points, 1; C. J. Oohnstone's Spark, 25 points, 2; C. J. Johnstone's Cherry, 23 points, 3.
