WELLINGTON, this day. Wind: Moderate everywhere and generally froxu southward. Barometer: Further rise everywhere. Sea.: Moderate on both coasts. Tides: Generally moderate, but good between Kapler nnu the East Cape. Frost is to be expected at all places south of East Cape, Tauranga, and Manukau, and very cold night at all other places. Synopsis of last 24 hours: Southerly gales generally with' rain have been experienced southward of Gisbprne, Tuupo, and.Manuknu, and the weather has been colder everywhere, with frost at Tophouse. Blcnheini, Kekerangu, and Roxburgh Evidence indicates that the pressure is low to the west of Koveaux Straits, travelling to east, but decreasing in energy.
