-No advice is yet to hand from the Uerkof tire Writs qs to the document tor the bye-election being issued. \.A meeting- of, those ladies and gentlemen'who- signed the requisition to. Mr J, H. Witheford asking, him to be nominated isis, a candidate'for the City in the bye-election will be held.in the Opera House on' Wednesday night next, at 8 p.m., when the requisition will be presented. A meeting of Mr Holland's Liberal Association committee will be held in the Wesley Hall on Monday night to form district committees. MrWm. Richardson will address the city electors to-night at S o'clock opposite Morton's studio, Karan°-ahape Road. °
