WELLINGTON, this day. Wind: Moderate from the northward at all places north of Napier and New Pi - mouth, northerly gale thence south to Timani and Queenstown, and westerly s-ales. elsewhere. Barometer: Fall everywhere. Sea: Heavy on ail western coast after 16 hours, also on east coast southward of CT SidS-°Hlgh on all western coast and on east coast south of Castlepomt. Warning signals for northerly gales are exhibited at Capes Campbell, Farewell and Foulwind. t Synopsis of the last 4S hours: Increasing pressure everywhere until about noon or Butiday, since then it has generally decreased steadily. The weather has been line everywhere, with moderate wino.-J principally from the southward. Low pressure from the west will pass eastward of the meridian of South Cape late tomorrow.
