BAMSON.—In loving- remembrance ot -David Samson, who departed this lite March 27th, 1599. It's just a year ago to-day,
With aching hearts we stood, Beside my dearest father's bed,
To keep him if we could. We prayed to God to spare him, But our prayers were all in vain, For as the sun he sank to rest, God eased him of his pain. "Gone but not forgotten." ■ Inserted by his loving daughters,
