At Molterio and Dordrecht Sir Alfred Milner, Governor of Cape Colony and H'igli Commissioner of South

Africa, on his journey northward to confer with Lord Pioberts, was welcomed. Mr Schreiner, the Cape Premier, who accompanied the party, was lustily hooted. The railway line has been diverted so as to cross the Orange River at Bethnlie by the waggon bridge.
