Notice is.hereby given that it is the intention of the Devonport Borough Council, on TUESDAY, the 27th day of March, 1900, at 7.80 p.m., to make and confirm Special Order made and adopted on the 20th day of February, 1900, adopting a By-law providing within the Borough of Devonport for House and Property Drainage, and for Drains and Sewers: liability of Owners. Occupiers, and the Council respectively; time and manner of applications, connection with sewers; size and description of pipes and cost; keeping in repair, and method of laying down; and regulations as to 'Authorised Plumbers,'1 and "Drain Connections:" as to traps and ventilation shafts and pipes: as to waste and overflow pipes front sinks, baths, and cisterns; for compelling the providing of water closets, descriptions: the removal of privies, and time for compliance; against setting up. new privies; obstruction of officers, powers of Council's officers, annual charges, penalties; modification clause; detailed schedule of specifications for pipa laying: regulations for Licensed Plumbers and Licensed Drain Connectors; schedule forms.
