During- the past week payable ore has been coming- to hand from both the eastern and western sections of the footwall leader at the winze intermediate workings. A less amount of ore has been broken out the past week on account of some time being occupied in timbering-. Last month's operations resulted in two tons or ore being crushed for a return of 32OZS lOdwts retorted gold valued about £90. This is the result of four men's work for four weeks. The tributers in the No. 1 section are getting a little gold again; strong dabs showing through the stone.
