A PECULIAR CASE.
LONDON, March 19.
David Witjas, a Belgian diamond merchant, who, under the name of Solomon Davit, was fined #200 at Mcl" bourne for smuggling' £2000 worth of diamonds, and was subsequently arrested for their theft, was brought up at the Mansion House as the prosecutor of another diamond merchant. He refused to proceed and the case was dismissed.'
