FRAMES DRAINAGE BOARD
The ordinary meeting of the Thames Drainage Board was held yesterday, all' the members being present." Mr IT. A. Gordon presided. The report of the pumpting engineer was read and adopted. Mr Park on behalf of the Anglo-Continental Syndicate, wrote asking for repayment of .the £300 deposited with the Board for payment to the Thames Hauraki Company, but stating the syndicate was prepared to pay the full: amount of the assessment for drainage contribution upon the Thames Hauraki Company giving assurance of full acceptance of the award. The Board decided to defer consideration of this letter. The Ano-lb-Continental also wrote enclosing cheque for present assessment (without prejudice) and subject to the condition that should the.
