Work has been resumed in the' MaLara Royal Company's property with a limited staff of workmen.
TARARU CREEK. Mr Thornton, general manager of the Tararu Creek Company, who severed his connection with the company was presented by the mine manager (R. Tierney) on behalf of the employees with a handsome gold albert, while Mrs Thornton was the recipient of a gold diamond 0B bracelet.
