LICENSING COMMITTEES.
The Parnell Committee has been reelected. In the Eden district the temperance party presented their five nomination papers, but as they were not accompanied by the necessary deposit, they could not be accepted. With regard to the Manukau' Committee there are six nominations, viz.:— Messrs Daniel Neilson, Samuel Bradley, Enoch Burden, William Gavin, Robert Hall, and John Rowe. Several were to have been nominated as a temterance ticket, but through a misun- , derstanding their nomination papers Avere. not'lodged with the 1 returning officer before five o'clock. The election takes place on Wednesday nest, March 31,
