AUCKLAND CYCLING CLUB.
TO-MORROW'S CARNIVAL,
The sports meeting-, which takes place to-morrow on the Forth Shore Cricket Ground, promises to be a most successful function. A lengthy programme of cycling and flat events has bee.n prepared, and the list of competitors is most attractive, including- the names of E. Reynolds ("one, three and five miles N.Z. champion), W. Tierney (half and ten mile champion), and W. Reynolds (one, three, five and ten mile champion of the colony), together with some thirty riders from all parts of the Auckland district. In addition to the various championships to be decided, there are a number of handicaps, two novelty races and foiir flat handicaps, entries for all of which, are very large. The Devonport Ferry Company are making special arrangements to despatch boats every few minutes. As will be seen elsewhere, the first event takes place at 2.30^.m' The following names were omitted from the list of handicaps yesterday W. H. Morton 71yds, A. Pearson 4yds.
