In Tesplonse to the demand for a high-class- artistic memento" of the'"' Auckland Fourth Contingent, the proprietors of the .''Graphic" are issuing: this week a special number of ibe journal, the chief feature of -which will be a series of magnificent plate?& illustrating the departure of the i Rough Eiders from Auckland. There will be between sixteen and twenty pages of pictures in the issue, anl;: | these -will, be printed on fine paper. X;o expense has been spared in making the production worthy of the ocea-;,. sion it commemorates, and it is anti-l cipated the public will fully appreciate I the labour spent on the 'work. Last week's issue contained four' photoi ! gravures 'oi the departure of the' Rough Riders. Owing largely to these \ pictures the demand for the number was extraordinary. On the day afterP, publication not a copy was to be ha<V and hundreds of people had to "o without. There is therefore i certain to be a large run on it. as it is specially suited for sending to friends abroad. Arrangements have been'f made for a big edition to-morrow so that no one, if possible, will be disappointed. '
