KAUEI GUM MARKET.
AUCKLAND, Wednesday.
The kauri gum market has been active all round during- the past week, all the better grades selling' freely at full rates. A small shipment oi about forty tons of g-um was taken away this week by the Elitigamite. The Clan McLeod is how on berth loading- gum for New York. Supplies for the 21 days of 3?ebruary total 734 tons. Poor ordinary £35 to £42 Fair ordinary £45 to £50 Good 0rdinary......... ...£52 to £62 Superior' ordinary £70 to £80 East Coast £7G up.
