A CHURCH PARADE.

Next Sunday afternoon there -will be a church parade of the garrison volunteer force at the Domain Cricket Ground,, at which a collection will be made in aid of the Patriotic Fund. Fully 600 volunteers are expected to parade, and an effort is being made to get the services of four bands, the Garrison, the Newton, the. Fire Brigades', and Impey's. The troops will leave the Drill Hall at 2.15 p.m., and the service is timed to commence at half-past three. The Most Reverend the Primate (Bishop Cowie) and Canon Mac Murray will be the officiating clergymen. If the weather is fine there should be a large attendance of the public.

At a meeting of Court Nil Despernndum, A.0.F., held last evening, it was decided to gramt their patronage to the sports meeting to be held in the Domain next Saturday by the Auckland Cycling Club, in aid 6f the Patriotic Fund.
