DIX'S GAIETY COMPANY.

The City Hall was well filled last night, when an excellent- programme of music and minstrelsy was given by Mr P. R. Dixs company. Encores were demanded for almost- every item. The songs and dances of the Lingard Sisters were warmly received. Mr Milford Haven's solos were most successful. Mr Scott Leighton sang " The Absent-Minded Beggar," and a good number of coins were thrown on to the stage. The songs of Mr E. Farren, the acrobatic specialty of the Frodo trio, and the jugglery of Rexo were loudly applauded. The performance closed with " Hurrah for Casey." There will be a partial change of programme this evening.
