FATAL STABBING AFFAIR

A BOY KILLED.

CHARGE OF MURDER

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.)

DUNEDIN, Mortday

A sad stabbing affair occurred in South Dunedin this afternoon, resulting in the death of a boy named Cunningham, 14 years of age. It appears that two boys named Graham were quarrelling. Cunningham, the deceased, went up to them to separate them, when Milburn (between 11 and 12 years- old), who was whittling a elderberry stick with a knife, told him to leave them alone. Cunningham then went lip to Milburn and kicked him, whereupon the latter struck at and stabbed him with a knife, which penetrated the stomach and death resulted. The boy Milburn has been arrested on a charge of murder.
