THE ELINGAMITE.
The' s.s. Elingamite arrived from Sydney this morning, and alter inspection uy the health olricer berthed at the rioDsuistreet wharf to d.isciuuge. Mr A. SpeuKman, the purser, reports:—Tne Eiingamicu left Sydney at -l.ua p.m. on me olst January, and cleared Heads at 5.43 p.m. Passed Three Kings at 12.43 p.m. on Uie 4th l'euruary, rounded JN'ortn Cape at 5.;i0 p.m. same day. Passed Kangitoto Beacon at 10.50 a.m. on the sth, and berthed ai the wharf-at lis.-Jo p.m. The vessel upon arrival in harbour was carefully examined by the Health Oiiicer (Dr. nope Lewis.) and pratique was granted. Experienced light to fresh east winds and moderate head sea until midnight of the 3rd, when head sea ceased,arid moderate S.W. sweil was -encountered, and which continued until arrival.
The Wanaka arrived at Wellington from Calcutta and Singapore yesterday. The Auckland portion of her cargo »iil be transhipped at Wellington.
