Wind: Moderate and generally from southward, changing by east to • northeast and north at all places south of Napier and Wanganui after 12 to 20 hom«s. Barolneter: Rise at places north of East Cape, Taupo and Raglan, fall elsewhere. Sea: Increasing on all western coast, moderate on all eastern coast.
Tides:" Good all western coast and on east coast south of Castlepoint, moderate at all other places. Rain is .to be expected south of Napier and Wanganui.
Synopsis of the last 4S hours: Pressure continued to . decrease slowly until about ■midnight on Saturday, since then it has increased steadily everywhere, but most in the South strong southerly winds have been prevalent.
Low pressure from the west will pass eastward of the meridian of East Cape on the Sth inst.
