CAPETOWN. December 9. The New Zealanders covered the entrainmeht of cavalry sent to occupy Arundel. The Australian contingents have arrived at Orange Paver station. The Imperial staff officers are delighted at The efficiency of the colonials. Captain Lascelles, late aide-de-camp to' the Governor of South Australia, has been appointed adjutant of the Australian battalion. " Major Amphelb,>% of the Victorian forces, has .been appointed to the staff at Capetown. He goes to the front. The Aberdeen's contingent of New Sonth Wales troops has proceeded to Modder'ltiver. SYDNEY. December 10. The Lancers landed, to-day. When they left, quarantine some one called for' cheers, but hoots were the outcome.
