A.A.A. AND C.C. ANNUAL SPRING CARNIVAL.

Given fine weather —and there is every prospect of the weather conditions being favourable —the Spring Carnival of the Auckland Amateur Athletic and Cycle Club should be a complete success. The sports will be held to-morrow afternoon in the Domain Cricket Ground. A capital programme has been prepared, and if only the weather holds fine the club have every reason to expect that liberal share of public patronage which ithas received in the past. The first race is timed to start at 1.15 p.m., and th« last at 5.15 p.m., and the public many depend upon tho various events being started punctually to time.
