THE D.I.C. ANNUAL MEETING

DUNEDIN. October 30,

The annual meeting of the D.I.C. was held to-day, Mr B. Hallensteic presiding. A dividend of 6 per cent, and a bonus of 3)J per cent, to shareholders on the amount of their purchases was carried unanimously. The chairman stated that the company's business was increasing, not only in Dunedin, but also in Chri.stehu.rch and Wellington. The paid up capital of the company was now £100,(501, as .against £57,177 last year, several of the largest shareholders desiring to be allowed to pay up the .uncalled liability" on their shares. The directors had agreed to this, and intimated that any other shareholders were at liberty to do the .siftue.
