SHAREMARKET.
Waihi shares again reached higher figures, being sold to-day for the first time at £10, with buyers left at £9 16/, and no sellers quoted. Enquiry was made this morning- for Waihi Silvertons at 5/, but that price was not accepted. Waihi Grand Junction buyers advanced another shilling, 27/ being- offered to-day without sales resulting. Waihi South shares firmed, being sold at 1/ and wanted at 1 _. , while for Waihi Extendeds 1/ would have been paid. In Karangahake stocks there were buyers of Crowns at 14/6, and Talismans at 12/3, the latter being a slight advance. Thames
aud Coromandel stocks showed no change worthy of special note. Standard stocks had steady demand at lastweek's rates.
