The Boers yesterday attempted to rush Estcourt, but one shot from the naval gun, and several long-range volleys by the Dublin Fusiliers, scattered theftn.

Tavo thousand Boers, with six 7pounders and two French guns, are at Annerdale, south of Ladysmith. They will be reinforced by a large force from the vicinity of Ladysmith,
