A -considerable addition has been: made to' the" buildings on-the Hint Park racecourse. The "stand has..been extended, and a kitchen, liar, and "twb'luncheon rooms have been"constructed.-- One of the latter will be specially set apart for members of the club and their families. Seahorse, the hero of the C.J.C. Spring Meeting was brought up from Christchurch yesterday in'the s.s. Waihora.
H. Franks returned from Christcburch yesterday with Miss Delaval, Tolstoi and. Courtier. He purchased the two latter from Mr Stead.
Tauhei was hroiigUt up from Christchurdi in the s.s. Waihora yesterday.
Minerva is scratched for all engagements on, the. opening day of the Takapuna J.C. Spring Meeting.' Her owner. Mr MeAulifl'e, considers she is badly used.
