FOURTH GRADE.
Excelsior v. V.M.C.A..—The latter team made 103 runs'in" the first innings, and the former 105 for 7 wickets. For V.M.C.A., Langdaie 4G, Tyler 13. Leonard 12, and Rewcastle 9 were the highest scorers. Langdale played well, and scored rapidly. He made one clean hit for 7, For Excelsior, H'indman 3G, Wallace 30, Ovendon 10, and . H. Blincoe 6. H. Blincoe took 6 wickets for 32, Hindmah 2 for 35, and Ovendon 1 for 7 for the former team; and Webb, Langdaie, and Leonard 2 each for the latter. North Shore v. St. Albans.—North Shore in their first innings totalled 54 (Froude 16), and in their second innings made 55 (Snell 13, Ward not out 13, Robinson 10). St. Albans going to the wicketa scored 77 in their first innings (Noonan 13, Gordon 26 and Ashe 11) Hutton for St. i Albans took five for 20, Gunn seven for . 53, Gordon six for 26 . Ponsonbv v. Giles' College.—College, first innings, 42 (Morrow 10); second innings. 112 (Moore 10, Lepine 33, Humphreys 2S, Yates 10). Ponsonby, first innings, 34 (Hiekson 17); second innings, _.:' wickets for 17 (Payne 13).
