WAITEKAURI JUBILEE RETURN.

The negotiations for the purchase of the Waihi Welcome mine by the Waihi South G.M. Company have been completed, and both properties will now be worked as one mine. This will give the Waihi South Company total area of 227 acres.

Mr Robert Worth lodged at the Bank of New Zealand in Paeroa, 109 ounces of bullion valued at about £300, being the result of a clean up at the Jubilee mine. Waitekauri. Worth and party are the tributers, and this result is from two weeks run with 10 head of stamps. A considerable amount of dead work has been done in the mine, opening up the levels destroyed some time since by fire, and in a week or so the mine will bo sufficiently opened to permit running the battery constantly, when some satisfactory yields are expected.
