A large croAvd Avatched the gallops at Randwick this morning, and a lot of good Avork Avas done. Superb Avound up a five furlong spin in lmin ssec. Blue Aietal and Johansen strode over six furlongs on the grass in lmin 23isec. Watercolour traA-ersed a mile in lmin 49jsec. SeA-erity worked at three quarter pace over five furlongs. Le Vax-, Promontory and Checkmate Avere associated over once round. Le Var completely defeated Promontory, the A.J.C. Derby colt, finishing up the journey in 2min 41sec. Plutus beat Bobadil all the way in a similar spin, run in 2min 381 sec. Djin Djin covered the Epsom Handicap distance in lmin 48_sec, beating Condiment
and Reviver. Cocos easily beat DeAvey and Flodden over nine furlongs, ruir in 2min Sisee. The Castor horse Cravat had the call over Sirdar in a mile, and a quarter gallop, the time being 2min 2Gsec. Many others did steady work.
