NELSON CHAMBER OF COMMERCE.

The quarterly meeting of the Nelson Chamber of Commerce was held yesterday. Mr Sclanders, the president, said he noAv had no doubt the proposed freezing works Avould be provided and go on swimmingly. The proposed harbour improvements and the scheme of Mr Leslie Reynolds Avere considered at considerable length, and a resolution was carried affirming the necessity of tlie work. The question of federation Avith Australia was referred to a committee, to report to a special meeting to be held this month.
