OTHER MATCHES.
On Saturday last, September 2nd, the Batley football fifteen met the Aratapti fifteen on Mr Jackson's field. The match resulted in n win for Aratapu by 11 points to 4 points. Stannaway scored for Aratapu, and W. Johnson scored for Batley. The latter kicked a remarkably good goal from a rolling ball. The condition of Mr Horace Chadwick, who was injured in the game, continues to improve.
