The 20th anniversary of the Loyal United Brothers' Lodge, Xo. !>75 (National Independent Order Oddfellows) was celebrated last evening in the Foresters' Hall, Karangahape I?oad. At (5.30 a large number sat down to tea in the basement of the hall, the refreshments being provided by Mr W. H. Philip, baker, of Grey "jynn. The tables were presided over by Mesdames H. Phillips, Pricker, Armstrong, Whittle, Holtham, and Misses Bain (2). The concert took place in the hall at eight o'clock, the programme being arranged by Mr Will Skerrett. who also acted as stage manager. Messrs Hodson, Morgan and .T. Skerrett gave a musical trio, Mr H. Follas, Irish jig, and Mr C. Madden, a skipping rope clog dance. Mr Will Skerrefct's comic song. "Up to London," took immensely, a.nd as an encore he gave "I'm 3STot." Other contributors to the programme, were W. Purcell, •W. Gallagher, H. Glover, P. Edmonston, J. Donovan, E. Long, J. Hyland and H. Houltham. Mr W. Purcell played the accompaniments. A dance followed the concert, Messrs Fricker, Armstrong- and Glover acting- as M.Ci's. Mr H. Phillips, the hoh. secretary, deserves credit for the complete arrangements for the social.
