CHELSEA WHARF.

The Auckland manager of the Colonial Sugar Defining Company has written to the Harbour Board .stating ' that the consulting engineer, Mr Main, has decided to recommend the Board to erect a passengers' wharf at Chelsea on condition that the Sugar 'Company contribute £500 towards : j cost of same and that the company ;j be not required to dedicate the land ; j for the purpose of a road, such being : to all interests and purposes a private I road.
