THE WESTRALIA.
The s.s. Westralia arrived from Sydney at U.IiO p.m. yesterday. Mr D. Sampson, the purser, reports:—The s.s. YVestralia left Sydney at 1.46 p.m. on 31st ult., cleared tho Heads at -Ma same day. Fine weather and smooth seas were experienced on tho run across the Tasman Seei. Had Cape Maria abeam at 1 a.m. on the 4th; North Cape was passed at 4.15 same morning.Cape Brett being rounded at 10.30 a.m., Tiri passed at 5 p.m., and the wharf reached at U.oO p.m. yesterday. Captain W. McDonald Hipgrave, late of the s.s. Burrumbeet, has arrived in the Westralla, and will aucceed Captain Thorpe'in command on the vessel's return to Sydney. Captain Thorpe returns to Sydney by the Elingamlte, where he will take charge of the new steamer Zealandia. The s.s. Westralia left for the South this afternoon.
