NEW ZEALAND GRAPHIC.

PRIZE COMPETITIONS,

It has been decided to make the anecdote competition a standing affair for the "Graphic." Every month 8 prizes of 5/ will be given for the best Bhort anecdote of not more than 200 words contributed. It is not neceseary that this should be original, but an effort should be made to avoid very old stories.

Communications should be marked "Anecdotes," and should be signed with name and address on the coupon, which will be found on the cover. The competition for September is now open.

The decision of the editor in all "Graphic" competitions is final.

DEAWING COMPETITION.

A new Drawing Competition is now open. It is considerably easier than the last, the outline being far more fully indicated. For particulars see cover of "Graphic."
