Three accidents occurred in Saturday's football match here. Murphy, a Waihi forward, had his shoulder dislocated. Cock had his shoulder sprained, and Dean had a finger broken. All three were attended by Dr. Bucklev.

A serious mishap occurred on the football field during the match Aratapu v. Batley. Five minutes after piny commenced Horace Chadwick. one of the Batley forwards, was kicked by W. Christiansen, an Aratapu forward, when attempting1 to kick a rolling ball, and his leg1 was broken below the knee. Drs. Cairns and Mountaine were quickly on the spot. The patient is said to be doing well. Chadwick exonerates Christiansen from all blame.
