Nominations will be received on the ground. DANCE. A dance will be held on the evening of the pigeon match. A waltzing competition will be held, and a handsome oil painting be given as first prize, and a pure-bred Langshan cock as second prize. Six couples must enter, or the event will not be held. Entrance, 2/ per couple. Clog dance—Open to all-comers. Entrance, 2/. Competitors must appear in costume. Two entries or no event.
Admission to dance—Double tickets, 2/6; gents' (Single), 2/; ladies', 1/. The dance will commence at 7 o'clock sharp. The music will be supplied by Messrs Dobson Bros.—violins, piano, and' auto harp.
Mr John Allen, the courteous secretary, will supply all pattculars. Cartridges can be had on the ground, supplied by Mr J. C. Oldbury, the wellknown gunmaker of Auckland. All bookmakers will be required to pay a license of one guinea.

Piano selection, Miss Fulljames; .songs were rendered by Messrs Williams, Parrett, Misses L. Harp, Taylor, Spinley, and others. Recitations were given by Misses Smith and Burrows; a violin solo was played by Master Spinley, and a dialogue was given by six of the members.
