LADIES' TEAMS MATCH

The teams' match in connection with the ladies' golf championship meeting was won by Dunedin with a score of 672 pointsMiss Rattrny, 100; Mrs Ogston, 105; Miss Scott, 120; Mrs Stilling, 112; Mrs Fergus, 110; Mrs A. TotJd, 11!). Manawatu, Wellington, and a nondescript team tied for second place with 609 points each. Scores —Mnnawatu: Miss Wilson, 103; Miss Johnston, 118; Miss Rutherfurd, 125; Mrs Still, 112; Mrs L. Abraham, 112; Mrs A. Russell, 129. Wellington: Mrs G. Todd, 109; Mrs Lees, 104; Miss Williams. 124; Miss G. Williams, 114; Mrs Turn bull, 127; Miss Hutchison, 121. Nondescripts: Miss Hill, 116; Miss Cowllshaw, 119; Miss Bornett, 117; Miss Moore, 108; Miss Gibson, 111;. Miss Begg, 128. The driving competition was won by Miss Moore (Wanganui), her distances being 102 yds, 110 yds, and 112 yds, a total of 324 yds. Mrs Abraham came second with 103 yds, 119 yds, and 62yds,a total of 284 yds; Miss Williams third with 105 yds, 105 yds, and one out of bounds; total, 210 yds. Miss Rattray, the champion, drove 132 yds, 103 yds, and 120 yds, but the last was out of bounds. Miss Wilson (Manawatu) drove one ball 144 yds out of bounds.

Lady Ranfurly presented the prizes on Saturday afternoon, Miss Rattrny, the champion, receiving the cup and bangle.

The first anniversary of the Central Mission Sunday School was celebrated yesterday afternoon in the hall. Special services for children were held, addresses being given by Messrs Schofield and Bathgate. The children sang special hymns under the direction of Mr Schorield.
