AUCKLAND.V. OTAGO.
(From Our Own Correspondent.)
DUNEDIN, this day,
The weather is g-lorioui's for the match to-day—fresh and clear, with but little wind. The Caledonian
Ground is in good condition, softish, but firm underneath. Armit's accident
has east a gloom over football circles here. A record crowd is expected this afternoon.
The weather is perfect. Widespread sympathy for Armit ensures a record attendance. Already peoplo are wending- their way to the grounds headed by two bands of music. The home team are slightly favourites.
